This is the horrifying moment a two-year-old boy was found crying inside a cage at a nursery in Brazil.
The troubling incident reportedly took place at the Early Childhood Care Center in Sorocaba, São Paulo, on May 25 but the shocking videos were not made public until Thursday.
The concerning footage shows the boy crying for his mother while he stood inside the chain-linked cage.
The child was eventually let out of the cage and appears standing alone in front of it before an adult woman, who seemed to be his teacher, approached him.

The incident reportedly took place May 25, but was not released until Thursday. In one of the videos, a woman who appears to be the boy’s teacher stands in front while he continued to cry
Witnesses told Brazilian news outlet G1 that the boy had been reprimanded by his teacher for his bad behavior before she locked him in the cage.
The child’s mother was alerted about the incident by the school principal, who explained that the teacher had only put him on a ‘time out.’
Following the incident, the mother noticed a change in the pattern of the boy’s mood.
The shocked boy is said to have displayed more aggressiveness and restlessness in his behavior.
The boy was also spotted standing in front of a garbage bin and crying for his mother after he was let out from the cage at nursery in São Paulo, Brazil. The incident is being investigated by authorities in the municipality of Sorocaba and the Ministry of Education
He would wake up often in the middle of the night screaming that the ‘school spanked’ him, she said.
The Municipality of Sorocaba received an incident report that was filed by the boy’s parents and said it’s internal affairs department would be in charge of the investigation.
The Ministry of Education also received a complaint.
Sorocaba Mayor Rodrigo Manga condemned the incident, saying it was ‘alleged terrorism by a municipal servant.’
‘I am, at this very moment, ordering the Department of Education to remove this employee from the workplace immediately until the investigation of the facts is concluded,’ he said.
It’s unknown if the teacher has been suspended or fired from the nursery. The names of the parents and teacher were not released publicly.
