A MUM has spoken of her horror when her "beautiful" seven-year-old son was fatally electrocuted in a pub garden.
Harvey Tyrell died after touching faulty lights while holding a metal railing at the Harold pub in Harold Wood, Essex, in September 2018.
Now, his mum Danielle Jones has spoken out about the tragedy and urged landlords to make sure their outlets are safe.
Danielle, 34, told MyLondon: "People who run pubs and other hospitality venues should regularly check their electrics, especially as pub beer gardens are getting busier at this time of the year.
"I'm still hearing of other incidents involving unsafe electrics in pubs and this needs to stop – I don't want any other family to go through what happened to us.
"Harvey was such a beautiful little soul, a cheeky chappie and one of a kind and what sadly happened to him could have been prevented."

It comes after the pub's owner, David Bearman, was handed a nine-year manslaughter sentence over the horror in April 2021.
He admitted contributing to Harvey's death by stealing electricity through an unmetered supply.
Meanwhile, Colin Naylor, the electrician who installed the lights, was cleared of manslaughter, but jailed for a year after being found guilty of breaching the Health and Safety Act.
During the trial, Danielle told the court: "They can both get life, but it still wouldn't be enough."

After the pair were sentenced, she gave a statement adding: "You read about these things and you don't think it'll ever happen to you.
"There are days I cry so much I'm literally howling. If I didn't get up, and do something for Harvey, I felt like I wasn't trying to get justice for him.
"He's been cheated of so much. It breaks my heart I wasn't there when he got hurt. I said okay, I love you, and those were the last words I said to him.
"Our worlds got turned upside down and life will never be the same again."
She also claimed that Harvey's death led her to excessive drinking and self-harm, but that she was "saved" by the birth of her one-year-old son Jackson.
The grieving mum said that the family keep Harvey's ashes in a box at home and even leave the TV on for him when they go out, as she wondered how to explain to Jackson that he has "an angel for a brother".
