POLICE are urgently appealing for information after a man's body was found in the middle of a road.
Emergency services charged to Tettenhall, in Wolverhampton, just before 4am on Friday following reports from concerned locals.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man, in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene in Old Hill.
West Midlands Police are now working to establish what happened and are treating the death as unexplained.
The road remains closed this morning while enquiries continue.
