THIS is the horrifying moment a thug carrying a machete lunged at a man outside a college campus.
Two pupils from Oaklands College in St Albans, Hertfordshire, were stabbed in the side and the arm, according to witnesses.
Footage taken on a business owner's CCTV showed a man pull out a machete from his rucksack and start slashing in broad daylight.
Armed cops responded to the incident just after 3pm along with a police helicopter and a Herts Air Ambulance.
A shopkeeper, who asked not to be named, claimed a man armed with a machete came into his store at around 9.30am.
He allegedly demanded tobacco but was refused because he did not have the correct ID.
