Police have asked for the public’s help in the search for a 13-year-old boy who went missing from Sydney’s west nine days ago.
Teenager Liam Taylor was last seen at a home on Piccolo Way in Shalvey on February 27 and was reported missing to police on Tuesday, March 7.

Police received reports of an unconfirmed sighting of Liam in Shalvey on Sunday, however, officers believe he may have travelled to the Sydney CBD area. His family and police are concerned for his safety due to his age.
“Liam is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build with dark hair,” a statement from NSW Police said.
“He was last seen wearing grey trousers and a jumper with black stripes on the side.”
Anyone who may have seen Liam or has any information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Mt Druitt Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
