Astonishing footage has emerged of a wild brawl near a busy Westfield with security guards from the shopping centre forced to run from their posts and break it up.
Security guards intervened in the fight between up to four men after it broke out at a busy shopping strip in Burwood, in Sydney’s inner-west, around 2pm on Tuesday.
The footage filmed by a passing motorist captured two men throwing punches and kicking each other outside the Commonwealth Bank and a nearby coffee shop.
Both men ended up on the ground and continued to trade blows.
The wild brawl threatened to spill onto Burwood Road on Tuesday afternoon
One of the men ended up shirtless before at least two more men join the melee which threatening to spill into traffic on busy Burwood Road.
Shocked bystanders watch on horrified before security guards wearing fluoro vests next door rush in to intervene and break up the the fracas.
It’s not known what sparked the wild brawl.
NSW Police are now investigating the incident and are reviewing to CCTV to identify the men involved.
