Police launch desperate appeal to trace missing 11-year-old girl who was last seen walking home from school in Manchester
Police have appealed to the public as they desperately search for an 11-year-old girl who was last seen walking home from school in Manchester.
Named only as Tia, the schoolgirl was last seen on Bradfield Road in Urmston at around 3.20pm.
The little girl was wearing a dark purple jacket with a black fur hood, grey skirt, black tights, black shoes, black blazer, blue jumper and with a red and white tie.
She wears glasses and is described by police as being from a mixed ethnic background, around 4ft 2ins tall, of slim build. She has black afro shoulder length hair which is tied back.
Greater Manchester Police officers are said to be ‘becoming increasingly concerned’ about Tia and ‘want to make sure she is safe and well,’ Manchester Evening News reports.

The force urged anyone who might have any information on her whereabouts to come forward.
