A POPULAR UK beach "full of rubbish" has been slammed on TripAdvisor with shocked visitors vowing to "never return".

The beach has 59 ratings for "terrible" and 48 as "poor" out of a total of 1878 reviews on TripAdvisor.
And many users have told horror stories about the well-known tourist location.

"Beach packed with big groups of people who were shouting and swearing at each other and at other groups."
The shocked visitor added: "The beach could be beautiful but instead there is litter everywhere including used toilet roll in dunes and in the beach pools being used by babies/toddlers, cigarette butts all over, glass bottles, cans, plastic bags, disposable barbecues and nappies.
"It smelt like a land fill site! I will never return here …it was bleak and depressing despite the scorching weather."
Pictures taken at Cambers Sands shared on social media show bottles, cans, cigarette butts, shoes and even a beach ball net strewn across the beach.

Rubecula said: "The tourists on this beach should be ashamed of themselves. I have seen so many people leave behind polystyrene trays, plastic bottles, nappies, tampons and cigarettes among a myriad of other disgusting litter."
'FILTHY & UNHYGIENIC'
Another user agreed, blasting their time at the well-known beach as the "worst experience ever".
They wrote: "Worst experience ever! Dirty place people drinking using drugs nitrous oxide front of the children no one cares! It’s heaven for alcohol use and drugs!!
"Really sad it could be nice place for families. Also its really challenging to reach the beach because of very steep hill. People with families must avoid this place!!"
And a third user blasted the facilities including the "filthy and unhygienic" toilets at Camber Sands.
And they even claimed that condoms, lighters and tents were among the items left on the sand.
It comes as Camber Sands was one of 70 UK beaches Brits were warned against swimming at.
Heavy rainfall has led to sewage discharge into a number of beaches, with Surfers Against Sewage issuing a warning to avoid the water.
Despite being a popular seaside resort, Camber Sands was branded as a beach with “hidden dangers" in an inquest after five young men all drowned there in one day in 2016.
