PUNTERS have blasted a pub as being the “worst Wetherspoons in Britain,” saying it has “awful staff” and serves “cremated food”.
The Bankers Draft in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, took a battering from locals on the review site TripAdvisor with one describing the boozer as like going back to the 1970s.
Out of 392 reviews on the site, which ranks eating establishments by customer satisfaction, it has three stars out of five.
It has picked up 61 “terrible” reviews although 62 ranked it as “excellent”.
In a review titled “shocking,” a customer wrote: "Disgusting. Arrived at 8pm. Hardly any drinks available
"And to cap it all we have a baby asleep in a pram and the awful staff member came up and told us we had to leave by 9pm because we had a baby with us.

Another customer pointed the finger at the breakfast they received.
They said: "Ordered breakfast, came out without special instructions followed and cremated. Not even busy so can’t use that as an excuse."
A third person added: “Visited on 4th July mid afternoon. It wasn't busy on the Mezzanine level.

“Female staff really need to learn some manners. When you're asking for money the word please usually follows. When you receive said money the words thank you usually follow.
“Hubby asked if his pint could be changed (it was flat) girl serving snapped and asked what was wrong with it.
“I've always worked in retail, not once have I been ignorant or rude to a customer even if they've been rude to me. Think this establishment needs a customer review.”
However, many others were more than happy with the pub.
In a positive review, one commentator wrote: “We always try to find a good place to eat when away and as we were staying in Sheffield we found this Wetherspoons.
“They always seem to be in nice buildings we visited here on several nights during our stay – good food good drink and as always nice friendly and helpful staff.”
Another posted: “We ate breakfast here towards the end of our stay. Very nice food, low prices, attentive, efficient and friendly bar staff.”
While a third person also rated it highly, saying: “On our visits we enjoyed some nice meals here, we loved the curry meals, the breakfasts and the fish & chips meals, drinks wise we loved the real ales which were superb.
“Gin & tonics were also great and the rum and Cokes really tasty.
“Staff were fantastic in here, atmosphere really good on all our visits, couldn't fault anything about our trips to here and when we are back in Sheffield again we will most certainly revisit here again.
