Flipping lucky! Astonishing moment London motorcyclist smashes into a van at speed and is FLUNG into the air – but is able to walk away from the collision

This is the astonishing moment a motorcyclist was flung into the air after smashing into a van in north-east London.
The man in his 20s was miraculously able to get up and walk after being hit on Upper Clapton Road on Wednesday evening.
In the footage the motorcyclist can be seen travelling at speed down Upper Clapton Road before crashing into the side of van which was turning right. The impact leaves a massive dent in the side of the vehicle.
The rider flips over his bike and on to the road, landing with a thud on his back.
The white van then comes to a stop further along the road and two men are seen exiting it and fleeing the scene.

The motorcyclist is visibly dazed after the accident. Onlookers help the man once he is able to stand while others search the van for evidence.
A bus driver who witnessed the accident also pulls over and runs across the road to the scene of the accident.
The man was taken to the hospital for head injuries but has reportedly been released after his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
The police confirmed that they were called at 11.45pm to reports of the collision, along with the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service, and are making enquiries about the van driver’s whereabouts.
By the time the police arrived the driver and passenger of the van had disappeared and there have not yet been any arrests.
