Coffee fans are ‘in love’ with Starbucks’ brand new drink that was released today, exclusive to the UK.
The Clotted Cream Fudge Cold Brew, has been described by the chain as ‘quintessentially British’ as it combines two British flavours – cream tea and fudge.
Combined with Starbucks smooth Cold Brew, the drink is a modern version of the UK’s favourite ‘oh-so-British ritual,’ afternoon tea.
The unique beverage has been released to celebrate 25 years since Starbucks opened it’s first UK store in 1998, on London’s King’s Road in Chelsea.
It has has since grown to more than 1,100 stores across the nation.

You can get your hands on the Clotted Cream Fudge Cold Brew at any UK store from today (August 10).
Coffee lovers have taken to social media to share their excitement- it won’t be available anywhere else in the world.
However, there’s no need to rush – the drink is here to stay as it’s been permanently added to the menu.
One Twitter user wrote ‘starbucks UK releasing a clotted cream cold brew three days before I leave is being god’s favourite.’
Another added ‘the starbucks clotted cream fudge cold brew…i’m in love…’ while someone else wrote ‘Clotted cream fudge cold brew sounds so goooodddd.’
One fan who already got her hands on the new drink, commented ‘Just tried this and it’s lovely!’
The drink is handcrafted with Starbucks signature Cold Brew, where coffee grounds are slow steeped in cool water for 20 hours to create a mellow coffee with a rich flavour.
The brew is a specially designed mix of Latin American and African coffee grounds that ‘guarantee chocolatey flavours with notes of citrus.’

You can get your hands on the Clotted Cream Fudge Cold Brew at any UK store from today (August 10)
Prepared in small batches, the Cold Brew is combined with vanilla flavour syrup and poured over ice, topped with a sweet cream foam infused with Clotted Cream Fudge flavouring and then finished with a Clotted Cream Fudge topping.
Previous cold brew flavours that proved popular with fans in the UK include the autumn staple Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew and the festive menu Toffee Nut Cream Cold Brew.
If you don’t fancy going into store for the drink, it’s available by going through the Drive Thru, or you can order it straight to your door via Starbucks Delivers via Deliveroo, Just Eats and Uber Eats.
There’s also good news for Starbucks Rewards members – from Thursday 10th – Wednesday 16th August, members get an added bonus if they go for the new British drink.
- Green members will get Double Stars on purchases of any size of Clotted Cream Fudge Cold Brew.
- Gold members will get Triple Stars on purchases of any size of Clotted Cream Fudge Cold Brew.
