THE three British tourists arrested over the alleged gang-rape of a woman in Magaluf were snared minutes before they were due to board a flight back home, police have said.
They were arrested at Palma de Majorca airport as they awaited a flight to Manchester – just hours after a woman claims she may have been drugged and then sexually assaulted.
The alleged attack took place days after a UK teenager was allegedly gang-raped at the holiday hotspot by up to eight French and Swiss visitors.
This latest alleged rape victim, who sources say is also British, is undergoing tests for potential suspicious substances.
A spokesman for Majorcan police the Civil Guard said yesterday that officers had arrested three young men on suspicion of "sexual aggression" at a hotel in Calvia, the municipality incorporating Magaluf.
“They were arrested at Palma Airport minutes before they boarded a flight to Manchester", the spokesman said.

“A police patrol went to the hotel and spoke to a young tourist who told them she had been raped in the early hours of this morning by men she had met the night before.
“She also said she had suffered chemical submission, given that she felt completely unwell possibly because of the consumption of some type of drug.
“She said she didn’t know the identity of the alleged aggressors, just the nickname one of them used on a social network.”
