Tony Soprano’s boat is for sale – here’s how you can own a part of TV history
- The yacht, named ‘The Stugots’ in the show, has gone on the market for almost $300,000
- The 47-foot sportfishing boat is the first of three vessels Tony Soprano owned in the cult-classic television show
- The current owner was enticed by the ‘cool factor’ of owning part of TV history when he bought the boat in 2016
Fans of The Sopranos can own a floating piece of TV history as a boat owned by the show’s patriarch has gone up for sale.
Tony Soprano’s boat, named ‘The Stugots’ in the cult classic series, has been listed on the market for $299,900.
Now named ‘Never Enough’, the yacht is currently docked in Stamford, Connecticut, and is a 1999 Cape Fear 47 Sportfish model.
It is not the first time that the vessel, which was featured in the first season of the legendary HBO show about a New Jersey mob family, has gone up for sale.
Paul Ouimette, a United Yacht broker who is handling the listing, said in a statement: ‘My client purchased this Cape Fear in 2016 mostly because he and his family love to fish.

‘Of course there is a cool factor to having the boat that was in The Sopranos and makes for a great conversation piece. People want to experience a piece of television history.’
The 47-foot sportfishing boat is the first of three vessels Tony Soprano, played by James Gandolfini, owned in the show which ran from 1999 to 2007.
In the second season of The Sopranos, a 43-foot Egg Harbor boat was used instead to portray ‘The Stugots’, according to the United Yacht Sales statement.
The character also owned another boat, named ‘The Stugots II’, which was a 55-foot Ocean Yacht.
The yacht features two full bathrooms and two cabins for overnight stays and touchscreen control systems at the helm.

Ouimette added that the owner – who has not been named – carried out extensive work on the boat after purchasing it, including rebuilding one of the engines and updating the electronics.
He also did work on the interior of the vessel.
‘My client hates to sell this boat,’ said Ouimette. ‘But his kids are older and the need for a larger sportfishing boat is outweighing holding on to a piece of TV history.’
In 2019, Tony Soprano’s New Jersey mansion was put up for auction with an opening price of $3.4million.
The asking price was well above comparable homes in the area, which have sold for between $1.5million and $2million, but the owners said that they believed the mansion is as much of a piece of one-of-a-kind memorabilia as a home.

Patti and Victor Recchia were trying to sell the four-bedroom, 5,600-square-foot home in North Caldwell, eschewing real estate agents and requesting interested buyers to email them a bid directly.
‘I don’t think you can quantify the intrinsic value of this home,’ Mr. Recchia told the New York Times in an article announcing the sale.
However according to the latest records, the couple are still registered as owners of the famous home.
