A WOMAN has taken to social media to rage about an encounter with a furious tourist whose car was blocking her driveway.
The resident of Penmaenmawr in Conwy, Wales said she was left "shaking and angry" by the holidaymaker's "shocking" verbal abuse.
In a post of Facebook, she said that she had asked "countless people" not to park in front of her drive on Station Road.
The road has become a bit of a parking hotspot for visitors as it is closer to the beach cafe, playground and paddling pool than the non-residential prom, according to The Mirror.
Locals have reportedly taken to placing cones outside their driveways to prevent legal but irritating parking, after old "keep clear" markings had worn away.
But the shocked homeowner says that she looked outside to see a car full of tourists parked over the cones.
The post explains that the resident "went out and said, excuse me, you can’t park there as I won’t be able to get my car out, that’s why the cones are there."
At this point "The driver came out screaming at me about shouting – I wasn’t shouting, just asking – then started saying it’s cos she was a holidaymaker.

"Not at all luv, I just need to get in and out."
She reports that the driver threw one cone into her driveway and tossed away the other, and complains that the enraged holidaymaker only had to move the car a few feet to avoid the confrontation.
Locals are said to be frustrated by the fact that there is plenty of parking in the town, with 40 free spaces available in the nearby car park.
Despite this, they report that residential streets are clogged with parked cars as they are located closer to tourist spots.
A fellow resident agreed with the original poster, saying: "I have real difficulty parking at the front by my house during the summer months.
"I have to park in our overflow car park, which is far from ideal. I just wish people were more considerate!"
The community say they plan to lobby the town council to introduce parking restrictions, with one local saying: "It should be permit only all along here at the front, there are car parks for holidaymakers to use.
