Two teenage clubbers have tragically died in a suspected drugs tragedy after collapsing during a 13-hour rave at a Glasgow nightclub.

The two men, both aged 18, were attending popular nightspot SWG3 where DJ ace Ben Hemsley was headlining.

In upsetting scenes, one of the men was seen to collapse at the venue before he was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow where he died soon after.

The second man was found unresponsive at Lanarkshire’s Croy station and rushed to University Hospital Monklands in Airdrie where he sadly could not be revived.

Police Scotland have said that they are exploring the possibility that the two deaths could be drug related and will make further enquiries to ascertain if the substances were from the same batch.
