UK weather: Met Office reveal snow to hit in days as Brits warned to brace for wintry showers & mercury set to plummet | The Sun

SNOW is on the way for parts of the UK with forecasters telling Brits to brace themselves for freezing temperatures.

More rain is to hit Britain today as wintry showers and cold winds see temperatures plummet.

The Met Office predicts things will turn colder from the north today as a narrow band of rain sinks south across Scotland and northern England.

They say wintry showers are possible later in the far northeast.

Meteorologist Alex Deakin also says there's a possibility of snow today in Scotland.

He explained: “By the time we get to Friday afternoon most places will have been hit with that colder air and single figure temperatures.
