THERE are several plants that can be commonly found in gardens up and down the country that can make your dog ill.
Some can be highly poisonous to your pet pooch while others can cause a mild tummy upset.
Which plants should I be wary about my dog being around?
While many plants can be poisonous to dogs, the most common are listed below, according to The Kennel Club.

It’s unlikely most people would know if a plant is poisonous or not to their dog unless they are an expert.
Keep an eye out though to see if your canine is consistently eating plants.
Look out for any signs of illness too.
Symptoms of poisoning may include vomiting, diarrhoea, tremors or seizures and loss of consciousness.
