JEFFREY DAHMER became one of the most notorious serial killers of all time, murdering 17 men between 1978 and 1991.
Several of the victims bodies were never found, including 23-year-old, David Courteney Thomas.
Who was Jeffrey Dahmer victim David Thomas?
Thomas went missing in Milwaukee on September 24, 1990 and is believed to be Dahmer's ninth victim.
At the time of his disappearance, Thomas' family said that they hadn't heard from him in over month.
The 23-year-old had been living with his girlfriend on and off in the years before his death.
The couple had a 3-year-old daughter at the time.

Dahmer claimed that he murdered the Thomas because he was not "his type".
Photographs of his dismembered body were discovered, however his actual remains were never found.
What happened to David Thomas?
While Thomas' remains were never found in Dahmer's apartment like many of his other victims were, it is heavily believed that he was killed by Dahmer in September 1990.
Despite never recovering his remains, Dahmer told authorities that the 23-year-old had been one of his victims.

The young boys family were also asked to identify a photo of him found in Dahmer's Wisconsin apartment.
The serial killer often kept his victims body parts, as a gruesome trophy for his acts, however he apparently did not do so in Thomas' case.
Investigators believed that Dahmer had destroyed Thomas' body parts, along with three other missing men presumed to be his victims.
The other men thought to have been killed by Dahmer whose bodies were never found include, Richard Guerrero, Edward Smith, and Steven Tuomi.

Dahmer dismembered and murdered 17 young men over a 13 year period.
The youngest of his victims were 14-years-old and he tended to target gay ethnic minorities.
He began killing in 1978, when he murdered 18-year-old high school graduate, Steven Hicks.
Dahmer continued murdering young boys until he was eventually caught in July 1991.
