Widower who blasted a father and son to death with a shotgun in custody row is jailed for 25 years

A murderous widower who gunned down a father and son during a deadly custody row has been jailed for life.  

Stephen Alderton, 67, has been sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court to life in prison with a minimum term of 25 years for the murders of father and son Gary and Joshua Dunmore.

The pair were shot dead in two Cambridgeshire villages six miles apart in March, with Alderton using a shotgun to kill them.
