The 2022 championship marks the first time the grounds will be filled with up to 42,000 people every day since before the Covid pandemic.
The queue has returned for the first time since 2019 as spectators from around the world camp out and line up for hours to buy on-the-door tickets every day.
It comes after the tournament was cancelled in 2020 and then went ahead in 2021 but only with 50% crowd capacity.

Mixed weather conditions are forecast for the two-week period, which will likely see predominantly dry conditions with sunny spells interspersed with some showers and breezy winds.
Marco Petagna, a spokesman for the Met Office, said: ‘The first half of the week, the impression is a lot of bright dry weather with a small chance of showers coming in.
‘It is really the second half of the week that there will be a greater chance of showers breaking out.
‘Temperatures are generally going to be around average so highs of 21C.’
Hundreds of hopeful tennis fans have joined the famous Wimbledon queue for premium tickets on the first day of play.
A large crowd has gathered at the gates in south-west London more than two hours before opening time at 10am.
Some 42,000 people are expected at the world’s oldest tennis tournament each day for the next two weeks as it returns at full capacity for the first time in three years.
Eyes will be on British player Emma Raducanu after she made history last summer as the first qualifier to win the US Open.
But things will be a little bit different for the teenage US Open champion this year, who is nursing a side strain.
Raducanu, fresh from completing her A-Levels, became the youngest British player to make it to the fourth round at SW19 and things only got better from there as two months later she incredibly won the US Open.
The 19-year-old achieved all that success without having established herself on the regular tour and it has been tough since as injuries, defeats and a raft of coaching changes have made it a difficult introduction to life as a professional.
And Raducanu has played just 33 minutes of action on the grass after sustaining a side strain in her first warm-up match at Nottingham ahead of facing the tricky Alison Van Uytvanck.
