A WOMAN has been found dead and a man is fighting for his life after emergency services were called to a home.
Great North Air Ambulance and three ambulance crews were called to a property on Middlesbrough's Fosdyke Green at 10.20am this morning, where the woman was tragically found dead.
A man was taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment, where he remains in a critical condition.
Police have launched an investigation, although the woman's death is not being treated as suspicious.
Cleveland Police told the Northern Echo: "Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing, however it is not currently being treated as suspicious.
"Our thoughts are with the woman’s family at this difficult time."

North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a private address in Ormesby at 9.47am this morning.
"We dispatched three ambulance crews, a specialist paramedic and a clinical team leader, and requested support from Great North Air Ambulance service."
