Keke Palmer has a request for the aesthetics industry. In true fashion, it’s very entertaining. The actor recently took a break between her various projects to post about the frustrations of adult acne and why plastic surgeons have yet to find an immediate fix despite other advancements. “I was just thinking about the fact that plastic surgeons are amazing,” Palmer said in the Instagram video shared on Aug. 10. “But they cannot figure out how to clear up somebody’s skin? Are you kidding me?”

After riffing on the wide variety of procedures currently available, including breast augmentations, tummy tucks, and the BBL, Palmer said, “All of these years and all of these inventions, and you can’t figure out how to take the beautiful skin from my ass and put it on my face? I’m tired of it. I’m done with it. People out here with adult acne are struggling, and you ain’t figured out that cure? I’m done.”

Palmer has previously spoken about her experience with acne, which actually led her to realize she had polycystic ovary syndrome. In a 2020 Instagram post, Palmer said she had tried a range of acne treatments before being diagnosed with PCOS. She even took Accutane twice. “My skin has made me sad many nights but I do not give up on myself,” Palmer said at the time. “I know this is not me and my body has been looking for help.”

In the caption for her latest skin-care musings, Palmer joked about wanting a “quick fix” and said plastic surgeons are missing out on a lucrative opportunity. “My homegirl’s walking out the hospital with a DONK same day. I want INSTANT results too.” She added, “Give us the plastic surgery we’re begging for, and make it possible for black skin as well . . . I’ll put my house on the market to pay, whatever it takes.”
