Kris Jenner celebrated her 67th birthday on Nov. 5, and the entire Kardashian-Jenner family honored her in the best way: by dressing up as their favorite Kris. For the party, Kylie Jenner wore a plunging sequined gown to portray a version of her mother from the Pioneer of the Year Awards in 1990, and she topped it off with a bixie haircut.
Kylie’s long, black hair usually reaches down to her lower back, but for the occasion, the beauty-brand founder could be seen on Instagram wearing a super-short hairstyle with piecey bangs that grazed her eyebrows. The look was a cross between a bob and a pixie — aka its name, the bixie — and is the signature haircut Kris has been sporting for decades.
The bixie re-creations didn’t stop there: sisters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian also got in on the fun with their own variations of the short hairstyle. Kim and Kourtney’s hair was black like Kylie’s, but Khloé chose to cosplay her mom’s blond years. All of the hair transformations undoubtedly come courtesy of really good wigs, reminding us of that time Kendall Jenner also wore a bixie haircut on the cover of Vogue China in June.
