Strictly Come Dancing winner Abbey Clancy has revealed that husband and former Premier League footballer Peter Crouch has threatened to leave her if she adds to their brood. The couple have four children, and the model and TV presenter has now admitted that “Peter has said he’ll leave me if we have any more!”
The couple, who have been together for almost 20 years, share Sophia, 12, Liberty, eight, Johnny, five, and four-year-old Jack. “We both love being parents, it’s the most fulfilling role, but having more right now is not on the agenda,” Abbey said.
The couple recently enjoyed a romatic holiday in Thailand, but despite nearly two decades together, 42-year-old Abbey admitted that their life isn’t perfect. “You can slip into your roles of cooking and cleaning, and you need to break that cycle.
“I’d love it if Peter was more domesticated but I’ve given up and he leaves me to do the cooking and cleaning!” she admitted in an interview with The Mirror.
Abbey’s latest revelations come just days after she exclusively told Express.co.uk about her “anger” after discovering the true extent of Peter’s hidden torment over the years.

“Early on in his career, Pete did suffer a lot of abuse from the sidelines [from fans] and that can have a negative effect on someone,” she agonised.
“It can be really hurtful and off-putting and I think it’s a testament to Pete’s character that he didn’t give up, and he had a huge successful career in football,” she said.
Back in the 1990s, when Peter signed his first pro football contract with Tottenham Hotspur, he was on the recieving end of a lot of taunts from the fans.
The former Premier League star opened up about some of the darker times in his recent Prime Video documentary, That Peter Crouch Film.

Despite spending two decades together, some of the revelations about the abuse he had endured shocked Abbey.
“There were some things on that documentary that even I didn’t know about,” she admitted.
“It was actually really difficult to see or hear someone you love get so much abuse,” she explained.
“It made me really angry and really emotional, so I’m all for positive praise. I just don’t think negativity helps anybody.”
