Alison Hammond looks like a Love Island star in plunging bikini – but all is not as it seems

Alison Hammond looked as preened and polished as much as a Love Island star as she posted plunging bikini snaps to Instagram – but all is not as it seems.

The 48 year old TV sensation looked stunning in the photos, as she could be seen in a pink bikini in the first one, with her hair parted to the side and styled in sleek waves as she flashed her pearly whites at the camera.

In the second, she rocked a black bikini top with a view that looked like the sea behind her, whilst in the third she could be seen in a close up in the same outfit.

The fourth snap showed her in a glitzy gold top with red hair and dangly gold earrings as he makeup was perfectly-applied with highlighter on her nose.

She captioned the post: "I could get used to AI !! @thismorning," as her followers rushed to gush over the gorgeous snaps.

Her pal Kate Lawler commented cheekily: "Cracking pair … of earrings babs x," whilst her This Morning co-host Dermott O'Leary wrote: "Not sure about mine!"

Someone else posted: "You don't need any enhancements. You're a natural beauty. Keep doing your thing sis."

Another said: "Nooooo don't do this… You are stunning as you are."

Dermot posted his own snaps which showed him in a very different light, as he tagged Alison and wrote: "Not sure about my AI image."

The reason for the edited snaps was due to an appearance on This Morning by love guru Stefan Pierre Tomlin, as the trio discussed enhancing people's online dating profiles.

As they spoke about making people appear more attractive on dating sites, Stefan suggested using AI (artificial intelligence) – hence where the images came from.

Whilst Dermot gets on famously with his Friday This Morning co-host, he did voice his concern that the doctored images of her could be seen as "catfishing".

Love guru Stefan then said: "I've done a lot of research into what catfishing is and there is six definitions of catfish.

"Catfish is someone who makes a fake profile to deceive someone in love and we're not doing that. We're enhancing and using technology to big up your success rate in dating."

Alison's star keeps on rising, as she was recently revealed as the newest host of the Great British Bakeoff, after former Little Britain star Matt Lucas announced his departure.

Sharing the news on social media, the baking competition's official Instagram page quipped that they had "baking news".

"We’re delighted to announce that Alison Hammond will be joining forces with Noel Fielding to host the next series of The Great British Bake Off on @Channel4 later this year," the post read, alongside a snap of This Morning favourite, Alison.

"We cannot wait!" they added.
