To mark her wedding anniversary this December, Amanda Holden has shed light on her marriage to music producer Chris Hughes, admitting that her other half often has his say about her career in the spotlight.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 52, revealed Chris has shared his concerns that people could get “bored” of her if she’s on TV too often.
Discussing her multi-faceted career; including presenting the Heart FM Breakfast Show, acting in TV series such as Wild at Heart, and co-hosting The Italian Job with Alan Carr, Amanda admitted Chris has warned her against taking on too many projects.
The mum-of-two told OK! Magazine: “I don’t want people to get ‘Mandy-lash’, as my husband calls it, and get bored of seeing so much of me.
“But when work opportunities are there, I’ll make the most of them because even though I’ve been lucky for 30 years, one day it might all end. I have to make the most of it while it’s here!”

Despite her other half’s concerns, Amanda insists she’s always worked hard, even years before her rise to fame.
She divulged: “I feel very fortunate. I’ve always had a strong work ethic.
“I’ve worked since I was 13 in various ways. I always say I’m a waitress that got lucky!”
She also shared the secret behind their 15-year marriage – having a good sense of humour, and spending quality time together.

Amanda explained that the couple have recently “banned” talking about work while enjoying one another’s company.
The star recalled: “Just last week Chris and I met up for lunch and a dog walk and we banned talking about work.
“You need to invest in each other and remember what it was like before children, before you had too much pressure on you.”
Amanda went on to add: “We enjoy a good date night.”
The couple also love making plans with their two daughters, Lexi, 17, and Hollie, 11.
Amanda explained that despite her hectic schedule, she aims to “spend as much time with my husband and children as possible”.
