Amy Hart shares adorable new pic of baby son at home after 5 days in hospital

Former Love Island star Amy Hart shared an adorable new snap of her new baby son as she relaxed back at home after spending five days in hospital.

Amy, 30, who announced on Tuesday that she and her 33 year old boyfriend Sam Rason had welcomed their son into the world, was clearing relishing being back home with her baby boy, whose name she is yet to reveal.

The tiny baby could just be seen through the holes in the handles of his white woven moses basket that appeared to be positioned at the end of Amy's bed.

The dark-haired little one was in the middle of a huge yawn, and looked sweet as he was covered up in a white blanket, while Amy enjoyed some much-needed rest in bed and watched television.

Announcing the birth of her first child, Amy shared sweet snaps of the family of three in the hospital.

In a joint post, Amy and Sam wrote: "Well…. 4 days of contractions at home (which everyone told us were braxton hicks…they weren’t), 4 very short hours in the delivery suite and 5 long days in hospital later, we are home with our dreamy baby boy, born at 3.31am on 3/3/23 weighing 8lbs with the most beautiful head of hair.

"(Amy would take the 9 months of reflux again) and we are so so in love. Proper introductions to come but now we’re home safe and sound."

"Thank you to everyone who sent their well wishes," they added. "We really appreciated it over the last few days. Here’s a few delivery room snaps, can’t wait to show you his beautiful, non post birth swollen face."

Amy decided to freeze her eggs, going through the procedure four times, and had planned to start IVF in November 2022, before conceiving naturally with Sam.

She announced her pregnancy in August on Loose Women and kept her fans updated in the months that followed.

Amy and Sam did not find out the gender of their child until he was born. Back in September, Amy hit out at some of her Instagram followers as she told them to stop guessing whether she was having a boy or a girl.

Referring to a video she had posted and then deleted, Amy shared a snap of herself flashing a peace sign as she wrote: "Thanks for supporting me. Thanks for sticking by me when I have a funny five mins.

"Thanks for all your messages telling me it's b******s – I've deleted the stories now so I don't wake up to abuse from the 2am club.

"But if you didn't see it, we aren't finding out the gender so please don't tell us you know it's 'defo' a…g/b!"
