Azealia Banks Says Nicki Minaj Hasnt Made Better Song Than Cardi B Amid Ghostwriting Claim

In the September 9 episode of Nicki’s radio show Queen Radio, the Trinidadian-born femcee claimed that ghostwriters is her fan as they make female rappers sound like her.

AceShowbizAzealia Banks has weighed in on Nicki Minaj‘s latest claim about ghostwriters who make female rappers sound like her. In a new social media post, the “Anna Wintour” raptress said that Nicki hasn’t made “better songs” than her or Cardi B in the past years.

Making use of her Instagram Story on Tuesday, September 13, the 31-year-old hip-hop artist said, “Nicki, you gotta go. You gotta go! Cuz you talk all this ‘Queen of Rap’ s**t, but you haven’t made a better song than me or Cardi B in the last f**king six years. You will never have the f**king dexterity that I have.”

Azealia told the “Super Bass” hitmaker that she’s “not brave enough to write a f**king good song,” adding that it could be blamed on the “postpartum depression [or] the drug withdrawal.” She continued, “I don’t know but I don’t even listen to the bulls**t you just put out, like who are any of those people on that f**king remix? So yeah, Nicki, I would suggest you check yourself into rehab now.”

Elsewhere in Azealia’s social media rant, she addressed Nicki’s claims of being in the midst of curating three defamation lawsuits aimed at people who have thrown dirt on her name in the past. In response, the Harlem-born recording artist dubbed the 39-year-old femcee “not very smart” before explaining why she apparently can’t sue for defamation, also pointing out that her lyrics could be used against her.

“Why do you you have them incriminating themselves on public forum? You are not a gangsta. You are a bad gangsta,” Azealia asked Nicki. She then hurled some serious allegations at the Trinidadian-born performer as saying, “Nicki, you’re kinda a f*cking pedophile.”

Nicki made the ghostwriter claim in the September 9 episode of her radio show, Queen Radio, when celebrating the release of her girl power-filled new track “Super Freaky Girl (Queen Mix)”. In the radio show, the “Anaconda” spitter said that every ghostwriter who writes for women is her fan. “It’s because everybody that is a ghostwriter right now in hip-hop is writing for any female, not just the artist, but the ghostwriter is a Nicki fan, too,” she explained.

“Every ghostwriter that writes for women, before they write that muthaf**kin’ verse, they think, ‘What would Nicki Minaj say?’ And if you disagree with that or dispute that, you’re f**king dumb,” Nicki continued.

After Nicki’s ghostwriter claim sparked debate among hip-hop artists on social media, Cardi shared a cryptic post about promoting song with “drama.” Cardi tweeted on Monday, September 12, “This s**t is tiring, old, and redundant. Same formula, DIFFERENT YEAR = start chaos, drama, and then promote their s**t. I actually have a life outside of my house and Twitter. Until b***hes put a @ on it they talking to their mother. Byeeee.”
