Bachelorette's Dean Unglert Told Caelynn Miller-Keyes He Wants A Vasectomy BEFORE They Have Kids!

Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes won’t be having kids anytime soon!

During their Help! We Suck at Being Newlyweds podcast with Jared Haibon on Wednesday, the 27-year-old former pageant queen opened up about the couple’s plans when it comes to starting a family. According to Caelynn, they are not ready for children at this time! In fact, her future hubby wants to do what he can to prevent it and get a vasectomy before they have kids! She said on the episode:

“I don’t know if Dean’s talked about this on the podcast, but he really wants to get a vasectomy — before we have kids. He wants to get a vasectomy because he doesn’t think it’s fair that a woman has to take birth control. So then when we’re ready to have kids, he would un-snip himself and we would have children.”

Wow!!! That’s a very sweet offer from Dean. Let’s be real here, women should not be the ones solely responsible for birth control and pregnancy prevention. So we love to see the 31-year-old recognizing that and trying to step up. It’s certainly refreshing to see. Perhaps, Dean should sit down and have a chat with Jessie James Decker’s husband, who refuses to get a vasectomy because he fears it “takes his manhood away from him,” about this topic.

Of course, their co-host was shocked by the news – even shouting “what” in the middle of Caelynne’s confession. He also had a few questions about the whole process, asking:

“That’s very nice of him, but at the same time, like, is there any downside? Does it hurt the potential of having kids if you reverse it?”

That’s when Caelynn admitted they still needed to do a lot more research before they make any decisions about him getting snipped:

“We both need to research this more. But also, I heard, like, there could be pain that’s involved if you get a vasectomy. And so, I was like, ‘I don’t want you to be in pain.’ … He and Bob Guiney were talking about it. … Even after you heal, there could potentially be just everyday pain.”

It is all about whatever works best for both Caelynn and Dean at the end of the day. But what do YOU think, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF in the comments below!
