BBC Strictlys Bobby Braziers heartbreaking final message from mum Jade Goody

Bobby Brazier opens up on being ‘angry’ at the world

Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier is best known for his role on EastEnders, but the English actor and model will also be recognised for being the eldest son of the late Jade Goody.

Jade passed away from cervical cancer aged 27 in 2009, just seven months after she was diagnosed.

Prior to her death, she shot to fame after appearing on Big Brother at the age of 20 and came in fourth place.

Jade met Jeff Brazier in 2002 and they had two children, before parting ways in 2004.

Bobby and his younger brother Freddie were just five and four years old when their mother died, but they were given a final message before Jade’s passing.

In a photo album of her life, she wrote: “Dear Bobby and Freddie – I have asked for this book to be made so that when you are older you can remember just how much fun we had.

“I thank God that we made the most of our time together and I treasure the moments we shared.

“These are my most precious memories. Some person much wiser than me once said that if you never discovered something you would die for, then you haven’t lived.

“Well, you are both proof that I have lived. I will love you always. Mummy.”

Shortly before her death, Jade tied the knot with Jack Tweed who was only 21 years old at the time.

Although he is not the father of Jade’s sons, Jack has previously spoken about his “immense pride” for Bobby and Freddie 14 years on.

Speaking to The Mirror last month, he said he would love to take out Freddie and Bobby one day.

He said: “Jade would be over the moon how well they’re both doing.

“I saw Bobby three or four weeks ago. He’s so busy and was living quite a distance away from me.

“We see each other through Arg [James Argent] or with other people, we’re yet to do anything on our own. I’d like to take Bobby and Freddie out and be normal, just like we used to be, maybe one day.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns this Saturday on BBC One.
