Strictly Come Dancing professional Vito Coppolo has made a promise to his dance partner Ellie Leach amid rumours the pair are dating.

The 31-year-old took to his Instagram feed to post a picture of the duo from a recent photoshoot.

In the sweet snap, Vito and Ellie, 22, can be seen linking their pinkie fingers and laughing with one another.

He captioned it: “This is sooo much US. Cannot wait to perform on the iconic Blackpool ballroom. I get emotional every time and it’s so special.

“I am so proud of you and grateful and happy for the amazing journey we are having together.

“I promise to give you the best Blackpool memories and I know that you will do the same my Lulu. Cannot wait to perform on that dance floor tomorrow.”

The BBC star also took the opportunity to thank his fans for all of their support while on the show.

“And for all of you beautiful people who support us we hope you will enjoy our dance. Love you all,” Vito concluded.

Ellie rushed to comment on the adorable snap as she wrote “let’s Charleston”, with six red love heart emojis.

The pair’s fans also commented on the post and wished them well as they take on the Charleston at the iconic Blackpool tower.

One person said: “I’m sooo excited to see your dance, you’re going to absolutely smash it.”

Another Instagram user expressed: “So looking forward to seeing you two smash it with your Charleston!”

While a third penned: “Good luck and have the most amazing time, I can’t wait to watch your Charleston, go smash it.”

The two have been at the centre of speculation after sharing a series of triumphant kisses and gushing about one another on social media.

However, claiming that she and the Italian dancer are “friends”, she insisted to OK! Magazine: “It was only a kiss on the cheek.

“He gives me a kiss on the cheek every Saturday! It was definitely on the cheek.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday from 6:40pm on BBC One, followed by the results on Sunday from 7:15pm on BBC One.
