Nina Warhurst took to Instagram today and admitted she received her Mother’s Day gift late which resulted in a “strop”. The BBC Breakfast presenter soon revealed another family blunder after forgetting her wedding anniversary.

Nina is happily married to her husband Ted, who is a caterer, and the couple shares two sons together.

Taking to the picture-sharing site, the BBC host shared a photo of the gifts she received which included a bouquet of flowers.

She captioned the snap: “Hands up if you threw a strop over late Mother’s Day gifts on Sunday…” before adding: “It wasn’t actually late I was just tired and emosh.”(sic)

In a follow-up post the presenter said it was her anniversary last week but she seemingly forgot.

Nina penned: “…Then clean forgot your wedding anniversary on Wednesday.”

She went on: “@FedbyTed tells me nine years is pottery,” as the broadcaster shared a photo of a pottery pot, with the caption, “surprise one.”

The traditional nine-year wedding anniversary gifts are pottery and willow.

She then shared a snap of her other half, writing: “Happy Anniversary darling. I love you as much as the cat does.”

The couple had cause to celebrate has announced she is pregnant with her third child.

The presenter, 42, revealed that after months of “vomiting and migraines” she discovered she was expecting with her husband Ted.

She shared a beaming snap of herself posing in a skin-tight black dress, while cradling her growing baby bump in the BBC studio.

Nina penned on Instagram: “Happy Mother’s Day to all of those who are any part of this endless handover of love, values, genes, chaos and perpetually crumb-infested kitchens.

“I’d like to say ‘you got this Mama!’ But maybe you haven’t. I dunno. It’s hard isn’t it?”

She went on: “That said we are doing it again. It’s been a funky few months… involving intense migraines, vomiting, morning kebabs, first time acne, small acts of violence against fruit, afternoon kebabs, tears, spontaneous snoozes, anxiety and more kebabs.

“I am settling in to the middle chunk (emphasis on chunk) and enjoying the wonders of Mother Nature and her tiny kicks and flutters. The boys and the cat have been enjoying their new chair God willing, Baby Doner-Shish joins the outside world in the summer.

“I am blown away that we do this. And acutely aware of the privilege, born of nothing but fortune.”

She signed off by adding: “Sending love to those who’ve had to say goodbye to the babies they lost and the ones they dreamed of.”

Nina and Ted are proud parents of their boys named Digby and Michael.

The couple are very private about their children, but we do know that her eldest was born in 2016, while her youngest arrived in 2018.

In January 2023, Nina shared a sweet throwback to when she was pregnant with Michael.
