Britney Spears NOT Seeing Her Kids Before They Move To Hawaii This Week!

The time has finally come. Britney Spears’ sons are heading to Hawaii… and they won’t be making a pit stop to see their mom beforehand!

Sources with direct knowledge of the situation told TMZ on Monday that Britney’s boys, Jayden James, 16, and Sean Preston, 17, will be moving to the tropical island on Tuesday with poppa Kevin Federline and stepmom Victoria Prince (and the rest of their family). They will be living in a rental until they find a permanent residence. It’s a move that’s been in the works for months now — and it’ll mark a clear divide in the family.

The insiders have confirmed that before leaving the mainland, the teenagers will NOT be saying hello to the pop star, whom they haven’t seen in over a year! Oof.

While this isn’t exactly shocking, it is sad! Previously, other insiders for TMZ revealed Kevin was not going to force his boys to see Brit if they didn’t want to, so the ball was totally in their court. At the time, it sounded like they didn’t know what to do or what would be the best way to leave things off with their mother. And it’s by no means an easy decision to make, especially after all that’s gone down! Guess they’re just not ready for a reunion…

That said, this might not mean a permanent estrangement for the family. This isn’t like a normal person’s family living 2500 miles of ocean away. Britney LOVES Hawaii and often travels to Maui for vacay. If Sean and Jayden change their minds and would like a visit, it would be fairly easy for her to jet to the island to see them — and we’re sure she’d go in a heartbeat!

For now, though, this does suggest things are far from resolved with the fam…

As Perezcious readers know, the relationship between the Crossroads alum and her teens has been difficult for quite some time. Things really reached a boiling point last year when Jayden called out the singer’s lack of parenting skills in an ITV interview and K-Fed dropped videos of her arguing with her kids, seemingly trying to paint her as a bad mom. Since then, Sam Asghari’s wife has tried to take the higher road and posted loving tributes to her sons on Instagram.

We can only hope with some time, they’ll be able to mend fences. While Britney agreed to let her family move to Hawaii back in May (avoiding potential legal drama in the process), we know this must be a difficult time for her. It’s hard enough to be estranged from your children, but to be so far from them has to be emotional! It’ll be interesting to see how this move affects things… Thoughts? Let us know (below)!
