PICTURE EXCLUSIVE: Jamie Foxx is seen on set for the first time since he ‘sacked four people’ where he is joined by a stressed-looking Cameron Diaz as she shoots for ‘her final movie’
Jamie Foxx was spotted on set for Back In Action for the first time since he reportedly had a ‘meltdown’ on set, leading to four people being sacked.
The actor, 50, was seen filming scenes with Cameron Diaz for their upcoming action comedy in a snow-covered countryside setting in the UK.
Bad Teacher star Cameron, 50, was seen frowning and looking stressed as she reunited with her co-star on set after it was reported she likely won’t return to Hollywood for another film.
A friend recently said she has been struggling with long work days that tear her away from her husband Benji Madden and their daughter Raddix, three.
She officially retired from her Hollywood career in 2018, before being lured back by her close friend Jamie to star alongside him in action comedy Back In Action.

But her comeback project was thrown into turmoil earlier this month, when it was reported that Jamie ‘had an absolute meltdown’ on the set of the movie, which led to the firing of four people.
Following the chaos, Cameron and Jamie were seen for the first time back on set filming scenes as they walked through a wooded area together.
Cameron was seen frowning and looking concerned in some moments on set, before filmed tense scenes together which saw them looking shocked at something.
She cut a stylish figure in faux-leather trousers and a beige turtleneck jumper, which she styled with a pair of black lace-up boots.
Cameron swept her golden locks back into a loose ponytail and bolstered her striking features with a slick of bold red lipstick.
She was joined by her friend Jamie, who cut a suave figure in a navy suit and a white shirt, which he styled with black trainers.
He slung a black backpack across one shoulder as the pair were seen walking across the snow-covered landscape before stopping to overlook a rock face.
They were seen staring out in shock at something in front of them while they also intensely gazed at each other in the scenes.

The stars’ return to set comes after production on the film reportedly came to a halt after an alleged plot to steal £33,000 from Jamie in a scam emerged.
Bosses were said to have paused production as they carried out an investigation which led to a member of staff getting fired.
It is claimed police were contacted over the incident as it is thought the same worker may be linked to other attempts to obtain large sums of money from big stars in the past.
A source told The Sun: ‘This film has been a bit of a nightmare. There have been a lot of delays, especially with the weather thanks to filming outdoors in London in winter, but the latest issue is a bit more sinister.
‘It sounds as though they tried to offer up a Rolex watch as part of the deal but now there’s an investigation into everything going on. People will be glad when this thing finally wraps.’
MailOnline contacted Netflix and a representative for Jamie for comment at the time.
Earlier this month, it was also reported that Jamie was unhappy with production on the London set of Back In Action, leading to a four crew members being sacked.
A source told The Sun: ‘There have been some issues on set and Jamie has had a major meltdown over it all.
‘He demanded the problems be sorted immediately and sacked four of the production staff — as if that would magically improve the situation.’
It comes after a source close to Cameron revealed that – while she does not have any issues with Jamie – she likely won’t return to the world of film after wrapping the project.
It has been claimed that she’s had such a hard time being away from her family and hates the ‘drama and confrontation’ that so often erupts on movie sets.

‘These back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been a lot on her and she hates being away from Raddix,’ the pal told MailOnline exclusively, adding: ‘Cameron loves being a mom more than anything in the world.’
‘She hates drama and confrontation. This is why she retired from the business in the first place,’ she source adds. ‘She has already proven herself in the industry and has nothing left to prove to anyone.’
Cameron famously walked away from Hollywood in 2018 to spend more time with her rocker husband Benji, 44.
The two welcomed their daughter in December 2019 and have been incredibly private about their lives as parents to their three-year-old.
According to the insider, while Benji has been incredibly ‘supportive’ of his wife’s decision to come out of retirement, the decision has taken a toll on him.
‘Benji is supportive of everything that Cameron does, but it has been a lot on him,’ the source tells DailyMail.com. ‘Although she has gotten to see her family while shooting the film, it is just not the same.’
In regards to Jamie’s tantrum on set that led to him firing an executive producer, two directors and his driver, the insider was mum on specific details.
However, they added that they would be ‘incredibly surprised if it caused any tension between Jamie and Cameron’.
‘When you are in a position of authority, sometimes you have to make decisions to let people go who do not share the same vision as you,’ the pal said.
‘Cameron is a businessperson and understands that this is necessary at times and, honestly, Jamie is the only reason that she is doing this film and they are still very close.’
Back in Action marks the duo’s third time working together after 1999’s Any Given Sunday and Cameron’s last on screen appearance in 2014’s Annie.
Directed by Horrible Bosses’ Seth Gordon and written by Neighbors screenwriter Brendan O’Brien the movie has been filming in London since December.
While little is known about the plot, the actors have been spotted filming stunts on the river Thames, alongside co-star Glenn Close, 75.
Over the course of two decades, Cameron racked up over 40 massively successful films and, at one time, was the highest paid actress in Hollywood.
But since announcing her retirement, she has turned her hand to other ventures – including creating her own wine brand, Avaline, which she launched with business partner Katherine Powers during the height of the pandemic in 2020.

This venture was a major turning point for the Charlie’s Angels’ actress – and has, according to the source, given her a new creative outlet on which to focus.
‘Cameron has gotten extremely involved in Avaline and was pivotal in it’s creation,’ the insider shared.
‘Aveline has grown exponentially and it is something that Cameron is very, very proud of.’
MailOnline reached out to Cameron’s spokesperson for comment.
