Channel 4’s new series Scared Of The Dark is set to raise eyebrows as the word ‘f***’ is dropped 90 times in an hour by host Danny Dyer and contestants Donna Preston, Chloe Burrows and Max George

Channel 4’s latest series Scared Of The Dark is set to raise eyebrows on Sunday when it launches as it is set to become one of the most sweariest TV shows.

Presenter Danny Dyer and the eight contestants are heard saying ‘f***’ a total of 90 times throughout the first one hour episode.

The star-studded line-up taking part includes actress Donna Preston, Love Island beauty Chloe Burrows and The Wanted’s Max George as they try to cope with living in the pitch black for up to eight days.

Sandman star Donna dropped the F-bomb a massive 32 times after she faced the programmes first challenge where she had to unlock a number of doors as a man in chains slowly crept up on her.

Following behind her with the fowl language was Chloe who said ‘f***’ 26 times and Gazza who blurted the swearword our 15 times.

Wow: Presenter Danny Dyer and the eight contestants are heard saying ‘f***’ a total of 90 times throughout the first one hour episode

Despite not actually being in the dark, presenter and former EastEnders actor Danny dropped the F-word a total of nine times in the opening show.

Keeping it slightly more tamed on the swearing scale, Max swore just six times followed by comedian Chris McCausland, two.

However, some of the stars managed to keep squeaky clean including ex-boxers Nicola Adams and Chris Eubank and TV’s Scarlett Moffatt.

Chris was left less than impressed during Sunday’s upcoming show by the bad language from his co-stars.

Danny confessed he couldn’t help but egg the other celebs on after hearing the ex-world champion was upset by the language.

He admitted: ‘It was interesting, the swearing thing, because he b*****ked me [for it].

‘So I thought, “Oh OK, so now I’m really going to encourage every other f***er that you are allowed to swear”.

‘When everybody walked in, they went, “F***ing hell” and I could see him just cringing.’

Scared of the Dark, nightly from Sunday, Channel 4, 9pm.
