Charlotte Crosby doesn’t feel guilty for not wanting baby daughter with her ’24/7′

Charlotte Crosby has revealed she doesn't feel guilty for not wanting to have her baby daughter with her "24/7" in a candid new interview.

The former Geordie Shore star opened up on her approach to parenting and being a new mum as she continues to navigate the changes in lifestyle.

Charlotte, 32, has already shared her experiences surrounding prenatal depression and the positive nature of her labour and birth after a tough pregnancy.

Since having her little girl Alba Jean, who she shares with fiancé Jake Ankers, 33, the new mum has started to feel like herself again.

As well as exercise and going to work, she said it was important to understand what makes you feel like "yourself" and making sure you don't sacrifice that for motherhood.

Charlotte explained she was only able to start exercising again six weeks after birth, as she had a C-section.

But once doctors gave her the OK to do "gentle" workouts, she became much happier.

She said she put her gym gear on the "next day" and did a short session as Jake looked after the baby.

"After that, something sparked in my head and I got the endorphins back," the reality TV favourite told The Sun. "I hadn’t realised how much I relied on exercise to make me feel like myself, healthy and energised. It’s about having balance – you don’t have to feel guilty for doing things for yourself."

Charlotte explained that both going to work and doing exercise help her to feel like a "strong independent woman" as well as a good role model for Alba.

"I love Alba Jean, who’s now 15 weeks old, with all of my heart – she’s my best friend – but I don’t feel guilty for not wanting her to be attached to my hip 24/7," the star went on.

She added that regardless of your situation, your baby shouldn't "define" who you are as a person.

Charlotte also said she's a firm believer in reminding yourself of who you were before children arrived in your life.

Earlier this month, Charlotte opened up about her love of exercise and how positive it makes her feel.

She also shared a bikini snap during a post-birth trip to the spa on a weekend hotel getaway with Jake.

But despite being determined to get back to her strong and healthy pre-baby body, Charlotte told OK! in an exclusive interview that she's already "desperate for another baby".
