Claudia Winkleman, 49, joked she may be forced to call a relationship expert after tonight’s Euro semi-final clash. The Strictly Come Dancing star, who tied the knot with her husband Kris Thykier in 2000, made the cheeky admission during a Q&A session alongside Emma Freud.

It comes after England takes on Denmark in the semi-finals of Euro 2020 – a major feat that has not taken place since the 1966 World Cup.

Claudia was quizzed about possible issues arising as the Strictly star supports England while her Danish-born husband is backing Denmark.

The BBC favourite touched on tonight’s big game as she admitted: “It’s quite a complicated night in my house”.

Emma then took a question from an audience member, who asked: “As your husband is Danish will tonight’s match cause trouble at home?”

Claudia bluntly replied: “Yes. I asked him what time are we calling Relate?

“To which he replied, ‘I think we’ll be fine.”

Relate is an organisation that provides relationship support to couples.

She went on: “But [my husband] he is in a Danish shirt and I will not be wearing a Danish shirt.”

Emma asked: “Will you be wearing an English shirt? Are you going to go antagonistic?”

“Of course I’m going to go antagonistic,” Claudia commented. “I want England to win.”
