The reconciliation rumors spark after a woman’s laugh is heard in the background during the ’96 Freestyle’ rapper’s phone interview, with the interviewer noting that it sounds ‘familiar.’
AceShowbiz –Coi Leray and Pressa are not giving their relationship another try despite rumors to the contrary. A source close to the “Blick Blick” raptress has confirmed that she is currently single after fans speculated that she rekindled romance with the Canadian artist.
The Internet was rambling with the reconciliation speculation following Pressa’s phone interview. In audio of the chat, a woman’s laugh was heard in the background as the “Novacane” hitmaker spoke to the interviewer.
The interviewer tried to highlight the laugh, noting that it sounded “familiar.” Refusing to address it, Pressa laughed off the comment as he attempted to move the interview along. The interviewer didn’t further press Pressa on the laugh to avoid things turning awkward.
While the interviewer never named Coi as the woman with Pressa, it didn’t stop the speculation that Benzino‘s daughter might be back together with her ex-boyfriend. A source, however, has told The Shade Room that the woman laughing in the interview was not Pressa.
Coi and Pressa confirmed their romance in November 2021. During their relationship, they weren’t shy to make some red carpet appearances and TikTok videos. They even have a collaboration titled “Attachments”.
However, in February, Coi hinted at their breakup as she tweeted, “No More Relationships.” The 25-year-old raptress further stressed that she’s “done” in a follow-up post.
Later, during “The Breakfast Club” appearance in April, Coi revealed what led tot their split. “I love Pressa. I think he is amazing, he is a sweet man. We’re still great friends,” she said. “As a new artist, I feel like it’s selfish of me to paint you to what I would want you to be, knowing you can’t right now.”
She went on explaining, “And I might be a distraction, and you might be a distraction towards me right now ’cause I’m still up and coming myself. It came down to that. It was a lot of distractions and a lot of focus messing up, but for both of us.”
