Coronation Street’s Faye Brookes reveals stunning wedding dress pics ahead of big day

Faye Brookes is a blushing bride-to-be in the first photos of her sampling wedding dresses.

Set to tie the knot with fiancé Iwan Lewis later this month, the 35 year old Coronation Street cast member has been busy modelling three separate gowns for the Instagram crowd.

These elegant insights were celebrated by Faye's followers, who responded: "What an amazing day and life you are going to have. I am so pleased Iwan has found the love of his life" and "Can’t wait for all the wonderful photos I know it is going to be an amazing magical day".

"So can't wait to see the pics! You are gonna look stunning and know it will be the most amazing day xx" and "Over the moon for you @faye_brookes and @iwylewis – thanks so much for sharing sneak peeks of the dream wedding you both have planned. I hope everything is practically perfect in every way. Lots of love and kind wishes," read another pair of comments.

This comes shortly after the soon-to-be-married duo's exclusive catch-up with OK!

Faye, who met the 34 year old Welshman in the theatre, told us: "It’s making my heart pound now because I still can’t believe we’re getting married.

"It’s still sinking in for me. He took my breath away and I did get emotional. I never thought I would get my happy ending and I think we’ve waited this long to get our happy ending and it turned out to be the guy who was there the whole time.

"I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, I can say that from the bottom of my heart. It’s a gut thing too. I’m not questioning anything."

Reminiscing on how their love story first started, the soap star added: "On day one of rehearsals of Legally Blonde, we’d known each other for a few years by now, he came up to me and went, 'By the end of this tour we’re going to be together.'

"I was like, 'Mate, no we’re not…'"

An emotional Iwan went on to share: "Emmett [was] the nerd who gets the girl in the end. Sometimes art imitates life.

"There’s always been chemistry, but we’ve never gone there, until now. It’s been written in the stars from the beginning. I’ve never been able to play it cool and I let Faye know, day one.

"I never thought I’d get married. But the moment Faye came back into my life I was like, 'Oh my God, my whole personal ideology has changed. I want that person to be my wife.'"

The fellow actor also hit back at the notion that he and his future wife rushed into getting engaged last New Year.

“To be totally frank, I don’t care. I don’t care what people think about anything, but the reality is when I look into the eyes of my nearest and dearest, they get it.

"And I don’t think there’s been a moment of doubt in our minds, but when we’ve almost had to justify it to ourselves, there are two phrases I’ve used a lot lately – ‘Time is definitely not the best metric to measure love’ – I’ve definitely been in long relationships and I’ve never felt like this. And ‘Marriage is not the end goal.’

"Marriage is the beginning of a journey. When you know, you know," he reiterated.
