Danniella Westbrook has suggested she could be rekindling her relationship with her jailbird ex-fiancé, following her own brush with the law in Spain last week.
In an interview with the Mirror, the former EastEnders actress talked about how her on-off beau David would soon be released from prison and that she could be planning a move from her home in Portugal to Spain, to be with him.
Speaking of her recent ordeal, which saw her questioned by armed police at Ibiza airport over an unresolved driving offence, the 49 year old said: "In couple of weeks time it will finally be sorted. I actually have a Spanish residency to live in Spain, because that's where David and I used to live and I lived there years ago with my kids in Spain in Mercia, actually.
She continued: "But it's just nice to know because David's coming out of prison soon and we would have liked to have gone back to Spain to live. So it would be quite nice and it would be nice to know that's sorted so we can go back to Spain as and when we want to."
Danniella had been set to tie the knot with her fiancé after his upcoming release from jail in September, according to reports. She had been seen trying on wedding dresses ahead of her expected big day – while she was also snapped getting in shape while on holiday in Antalya, Turkey.
But it was later suggested the pair had cancelled their wedding and called time on their seven-year, on-off relationship all together.
A source told The Sun that Danniella had been left “heartbroken” as a result.
They said: “Both Danniella and David have decided to cancel their wedding plans and, it seems, their whole relationship. She has spent nearly seven years travelling all over the country to visit him but it seems the closer he is to coming home, the more the cracks are showing."
Danniella had faced her ordeal in Ibiza following an alleged offence in 2018, when she was arrested and detained in prison for 14 hours after running out of money when paying for petrol.
Earlier this week the actress was spotted cosying up to 61 year old Ibiza club owner Wayne Lineker.
Daniella, who recently had more surgery on her face that left her fearing for her life, looked happy as she wrapped an arm around her pal and rested her head on his shoulder.
It seems that Wayne was playing matchmaker as he appealed for a new man for Daniella.
He posted a video of them in the DJ booth of the beach club, as he wrote: "I'm looking for another fella for Daniella," adding a laughing emoji.
Daniella then revealed that they have been 'best friends for 36 years, as she shared the video to her own Instagram stories.
She added the words: "When your best friend of 36 years, decides his choosing Mr Right for me as I only ever pick Mr Right Nows."
