Dianne Buswell: Strictly pro doesn’t talk about getting married with boyfriend Joe Sugg

Dianne Buswell, 31, and her boyfriend Joe Sugg are not ready to walk down the aisle just yet and they “don’t really talk” about tying the knot. The Strictly Come Dancing professional said that she is too “unorganised” to plan a wedding, and likes to take each day as it comes.

Whatever happens, happens

Dianne’s brother was meant to get married last year, but she admitted it has not made her think about her own special day.

Speaking in a new interview, she commented: “I don’t over-plan things. I’m a bit more happy-go-lucky.”

Although her brother’s wedding has been cancelled, Dianne hopes at some point her whole family will visit the UK from Australia for his nuptials.

“My whole family would come over. That would be perfect,” she stated.

Dianne and Joe are equally relaxed about the future, as they enjoy each other’s company.

She continued to Hello!: “I plan my work a lot, but that’s probably as far as I go with planning. I’m quite an unorganised person actually.

“Joe and I don’t really talk about that kind of thing [getting married]. We’re both so relaxed so we just play it by ear.

“We really enjoy each other’s company so much and whatever happens, happens.”

The couple has been dating since shortly after they appeared on Strictly Come Dancing together in 2018.

At the time, Joe called the so-called Strictly curse, which refers to stars of the show breaking up or starting relationships during or after taking part, a “blessing” in their case.

“Dianne’s my first girlfriend and you can watch our relationship form, even the moment we met is on camera,” he told Radio Times.

On social media, Joe shared that the pair would be spending Christmas together in London, as Dianne could not make it back to her native Australia.

On social media, Joe shared a snap of the pair on a winter walk as he typed: “Sad for this one as she didn’t get to fly to Australia today because of Tier 4 n all that.

“But we’re also thinking about everyone else too and their own awful situations and plans going to shit this Xmas.

“It’s important to remember you’re not alone in this and everyone is going through it or has been through it this year and everyone has their own way of coping and dealing with it.

“But just remember that although it doesn’t feel like it’s temporary.. it is and one day we will all be back to normal again if we all buckle up and ride this horrible situation out. Lots of love to you all and reach out to your mates and loved ones to check in on them.”

Underneath fans gushed over the pair, as they thanked them for making 2020 “bearable”.

One said: “Love you both can’t wait to see you both in Birmingham.”

Another replied: “My fave couple.”

While a third said: “Thanks for making 2020 bearable.”
