Alongside his brother Sid Krofft, Marty created The Donny and Marie show, which ran for three years in the 1970s.
On Saturday, Marty’s publicist Harlan Boll announced he had died from kidney failure.
Breaking his silence on Sunday evening, Donny, 65, shared an emotional tribute on his Twitter page, now known as X.
Alongside a picture of the trio together, he wrote: “I am so saddened by the passing of my dear friend, Marty Krofft.
