Dua Lipa is embracing the single life. The “Future Nostalgia” singer spoke about her current relationship status in a new episode of her podcast, “Dua Lipa: At Your Service,” released on Oct. 7. While interviewing Charli XCX for the iHeartRadio original series, Lipa revealed, “For me, this is the first year I’ve not been in a relationship for a very long time.”
After the “Crash” singer got real about her grounded relationship with The 1975 drummer George Daniel, Lipa shared, “It’s been really great to just be alone and only think about myself and kind of be quite selfish, which I’ve never really had the opportunity to do. But when you find someone that really softens you and calms you down . . . it makes a big difference.”
Lipa’s interview comes only a week after she was spotted on a dinner date with Trevor Noah in New York, sparking dating rumors between the two. “It was clear they were into each other and sat close together throughout the meal,” a source who reportedly witnessed the outing told The Daily Mail. “They left together and walked, stopping for long embraces and on the second kiss with hugs,” they said. At the time, reps for both stars did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment.
The singer previously dated Anwar Hadid for about two years, first fueling dating reports in July 2019 before they took a break in December 2021. Lipa was also in an on-again, off-again relationship with celebrity chef and model Isaac Carew from 2015 to 2017.
