Stars of DC Comics’ latest blockbuster Black Adam took to the red carpet for the movie’s premiere in London’s Leicester Square on Tuesday night.
Dwayne Johnson – who stars as the titular lead – smiled from ear to ear while rocking a bold purple tuxedo as he joined co-stars Pierce Brosnan, Sarah Shahi and Noah Centineo.
Former 007 frontman Pierce donned various shades of blue in his formal get-up, while To All The Boys I Loved Before star Noah rocked a smart casual look.
Love Island winners Ekin-su Culculoglu, boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, comedian Jack Whitehall and presenter Kate Garraway – who stayed true to the theme of the movie and wore a hot pink cape.
Black Adam follows the antihero who is unleashed onto modern times after 5,000 years of imprisonment. He’s discovered by the Justice Society of America, who attempt to show him how to use his powers for good rather than evil.
Dwayne previously said of the film: ‘This character, this film, this universe, has been a gigantic passion project of mine for a very long time.
‘It’s the kind of project I know comes along once in a lifetime. The truth is, I was born to play Black Adam.’
69-year-old actor Pierce plays Dr. Fate in the action film – a character who appears in numerous DC comics as a member of the Justice Society of America (which is a different organisation to the Justice League).
Speaking about his new character, he said: ‘He’s traversed the ages of time. He’s one of the most powerful sorcerers in the DC comic book world.’
‘He did have a wife called Enza, and she was even more powerful than him, I hear.’
The first official trailer of The Rock in action was unveiled during this year’s Super Bowl weekend
In the trailer, Black Adam can be seen boldly staring ahead at two approaching helicopters, while a voice-over states: ‘My son dreamed of a better world … That’s why he saved me.’

The character was originally supposed to debut in Shazam! Opposite Zachary Levi, before Warner Bros decided to launch the anti-hero in his own movie.
Black Adam is set to be released this Friday, and will represent Dwayne’s first outing as a superhero.
An official synopsis for Black Adam reads: ‘Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods – and imprisoned just as quickly – Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.’
Black Adam is set for release on October 21.
