EastEnders Michelle Collins rushed for medical treatment after suddenly falling ill

Michelle Collins has thanked the NHS for their help after the EastEnders star recently rushed to a local Walk-In centre.

Taking to Twitter to share a picture of the medical facility, Michelle shared with her followers: “Thank you so much to the ⁦@NHSEnglandLDN⁩ #FinchleyMemorialwalkincentre under 2 hour wait and great staff and doctors , polite , well mannered”.

Her followers have since rushed to share their concerns as they wished Michelle, who starred as Cindy Beale on the BBC soap, a speedy recovery.

“I hope you are OK Michelle,” penned one concerned writer, as another said: “Hope you are ok and recover soon”.

“Ah wishing you a speedy recovery and I live in NW London and I always go to Finchley Memorial Hospital and I have had a good service every time,” added someone else.

Another wrote: “Sending hugs and much love Michelle”.

Michelle has since issued an update to her fans as she reassured them that she’s “ok now”.

The actress's medical scare comes shortly after she wed her partner Michael Davidson over the summer.

Talking to us about her “emotional day”, Michelle said: “My mum [Mary] had passed away [last year], my daughter [Maia] was away. It was an incredibly emotional day because I kind of never thought I would actually get married and Michael didn’t really want to get married.

“It was very emotional because, as Michael said in his speech, we’ve lost a lot of people and there were a lot of people who couldn’t be there.”

She continued, “His speech was so amazing – he’s not like me, Michael. Everyone knows him and knows we’re yin and yang. I’m the sociable one and he’s quite happy to sit back, but it works brilliantly. So, when he did this amazing speech, everyone was tearful. He thanked everyone and particularly the people that weren’t there.”

Michelle and Michael’s nuptials came shortly after they got engaged in April of this year.

Michael got down on one knee to the soap star during a trip to LA and popped the question to her at Temescal Canyon.

Announcing the news on Instagram at the time, Michelle penned alongside a selfie with her now-husband as she showcased her ring: “So this happened in #la he got down on bended knee while we were on the top of #temescalcanyon basically no one else around just us”.

Michelle added: "It’s #beautiful and I’m #happy #10years this April about time I think #magicmike .#Thankyou @val_king_ for having us and making us so #welcome as always ! #greatlady".
