EastEnders star Kacey Ainsworth ‘splits from partner of 18 years and finds love again’

Grantchester and EastEnders star Kacey Ainsworth has allegedly split from her partner Darren Hales.

The pair are said to have quietly called time on their romance during lockdown, after being romantically involved since 2005.

Kacey’s since reportedly sparked up a romance with fellow actor Liam Tobin after the pair met while filming Then and Now.

Back in 2021, the Little Mo actress penned a sweet tribute to Liam as he celebrated his 50th birthday.

“So Our Liam is 50,” Kacey began the post.

“What a blast of a party.. so many thanks on behalf of us all .. to Adam and Team @fredshopest you were amazing.”

After sharing more thank yous to those who helped organise the party, Kacey hailed Liam as a “lovely fella”.

“Like attracts Like I guess,” she concluded the post alongside a series of emojis.

OK! have contacted Kacey’s representatives for comment.

Several years on from her EastEnders exit, Kacey has ditched her dark locks for a blonde hair transformation.

She left fans stunned in 2021 after showcasing her new look on social media while on the set of The Mallorca Files.

Kacey also showed off her then-new look while chatting to Lorraine Kelly on her show, with the presenter going on to gush about her blonde tresses.

The actress found fame on EastEnders nearly 20 years ago and, while many might have hoped for Little Mo to return to their screens, Kacey recently slashed their hopes.

While featuring on Loose Women earlier this month, the star said when asked by Coleen Nolan if she’d ever go back: “It's always the same thing, it’s a never say never.”

But Kacey went on to add: “I literally don’t have any time at the moment.”

Kacey echoed similar sentiments to Daily Star in September 2022.

“I've done so much since I've left [EastEnders]. I'm a regular in an ITV series that's now…we're onto our seventh series of that,” she told the publication.

"I've done so many things. Mrs Lovitt [in Sweeney Todd at the Everyman Theatre], I've just finished a play called Lava in London.

"I do so much stuff, I'm not sure there's room [for a Little Mo return] at the moment."

Little Mo is arguably one of EastEnders most iconic characters as fans will remember she hit her abusive husband Trevor Morgan over the head with an iron.
