EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Laughter is said to be the best medicine… Jack Whitehall’s jokes are the perfect tonic for pregnant ‘warrior’ girlfriend Roxy Horner!
Laughter is said to be the best medicine, so comedian Jack Whitehall must have been a big help to his girlfriend, Roxy Horner, overcoming morning sickness during her pregnancy.
‘I’m very happy to be coming towards the third trimester, and over the sickness now,’ the model tells me at the Veronica Beard summer party at London’s Serpentine Gallery.
As she looks forward to having their first child, Roxy, 31, visited a fortune teller. ‘I had three very strong cards,’ she says.
‘My favourite was the Warrior card, because I always refer to people with Type 1 diabetes as warriors.’
Roxy suffers from the condition and was rushed to hospital in 2021 after collapsing backstage at the Brits.

Having been an ‘It-girl’, with a clothing range in M&S and even her own fashion label, Alexa Chung seems to set trends.
Yet this week she appeared to be following them.
The TV presenter and model, 39, turned up at the launch party for the renovated National Portrait Gallery in London in a strapless sequinned number by the Nensi Dojaka label.
The plunging look, with gaping torso cut-out might have seemed a quirky, original choice, but it bore quite the similarity to the £1,565 Nensi Dojaka dress worn by presenter Maya Jama, 28, on Love Island, the ITV dating show dismissed as a vacuous sleaze-fest…

Patsy Kensit, who was pictured on a ‘double date’ this week with her son Lennon Gallagher and their respective partners, admits she’s an over-protective mother.
‘I have protected them my whole life — and now they’ve moved out,’ the actress, 55, says of her children: Lennon, 23, the son of her third husband, Oasis star Liam Gallagher, and James Kerr, 29, whose father was her second husband, Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr.
‘When James moved to Italy, I got a cat immediately . . . and then followed him [James] to Italy.
‘He was like, “Leave me alone”. It broke my heart when they became teenagers.’
The mandarin who reported Boris Johnson to the police over his Chequers guests during lockdown was given a knighthood in King Charles’s Birthday Honours.
I hear that the gong for Alex Chisholm, Permanent Secretary at the Cabinet Office, presents a dilemma for his aristocratic wife, Eliza.
She is already Lady Eliza, because she’s the Earl of Longford’s daughter, but does not use her title.
But will she style herself Lady Chisholm now her husband has gained his title through merit rather than birth?
