Emily Andre has opened up about her marriage to husband Peter, saying their relationship is "stronger than ever" despite spending a lot of time apart due to work.
Emily, 33, who wed Mysterious Girl singer Peter, 50, back in 2015, gave a rare insight into her marriage as she spoke about Peter's busy work schedule, which means he spends a lot of time away from home.
The mum-of-two, who shares daughter Amelia, nine, and son Theodore, six, said her husband "hasn't been this busy in years", branding his current workload "crazy".
"He's doing loads of different things and it's one after the next – he'll finish one thing and then there's something else," the NHS doctor said.
She revealed he recently finished filming a movie and is working on several TV shows, all while being in Australia in the "middle of a tour".
Emily told The Sun she and Peter have gotten used to each other's busy work schedules, before adding: "We always make time for each other, we just get on with it really."
The 33 year old admitted she "always" misses her other half when he's away from home, and shared the sweet thing she does when she goes to bed when Peter is away.
"When he's not there, I literally leave his side of the bed completely untouched – the cushions are still there, so in the night I almost feel that he's still there," she sweetly explained.
Emily, who is also step-mum to Peter's two eldest children, Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price, spoke about her husband's recent 50th birthday celebrations in Dubai and explained she has one more present for him planned.
Peter requested a night away with Emily as his present for his milestone birthday, which she admitted has been tricky to organise as the singer has only "three Saturday's free from now til August".
Emily's rare comments about her marriage come after Peter defended their 15-year age gap, saying he doesn't think "age matters" as he and Emily are "so happy".
Writing in his OK! column, the dad-of-four gushed: "Emily and I have been together for nearly 11 years and have known each other for 13 years. Even though she is younger than me, I don’t think age matters as we are so happy together!"
