Rod Stewart has always loved a bit of leopard print and it seems his penchant even stretches to the foil for his highlights.
Rod’s stylist at The Hair Boutique in Saffron Walden, Essex, says she gets the strips out whenever she does the 78-year-old’s tints.
‘They’re very rare,’ she tells me.
Oh Rod! Do ya still think it’s sexy?

Crush of the week… Eliza Batten
Socialite Eliza Batten (pictured) has set up an online store, called The Cirkel, packed with second-hand designer clothes for women
Socialite Eliza Batten is on a mission to fight fast fashion.
The former Made In Chelsea star has set up an online store, called The Cirkel, packed with second-hand designer clothes for women, and is keen to make it a fun way to shop.
‘It’s imperative we convert people to second-hand,’ she tells me.
‘The only way you’re going to do that is if you make it an enjoyable, stress-free experience because as a society we’re addicted to consuming.’
She’s been adding 200 new items to the website a day, which is no mean feat – especially when she has received pictures sent by potential sellers in various states of inebriation and some unmentionable items in unchecked pockets!
Beckhams brought to book
His last book about Harry and Meghan, subtitled The War Between The Windsors, pulled no punches, so expect more of the same with biographer Tom Bower’s new tome – on the Beckhams.
Tom, 76, won’t be short of juicy material given the controversy over former footballer David’s deal with World Cup host Qatar and the ongoing legal battle over eldest son Brooklyn’s £3 million wedding to heiress Nicola Peltz.
The Mail on Sunday last week revealed rows over guest lists and the bride spending £85,000 on hair and make-up.
Tom’s book will be published by HarperCollins early next year.
