This Morning star Dr Uchenna Okoye’s cause of death age 53

This Morning’s dental expert Dr Uchenna Okoye died from a subarachnoid haemorrhage.

A friend of Uchenna’s last week said the mother-of-one died after collapsing at her home, but had no apparent health issues.

In a new update, shared by MailOnline, her family revealed the dental expert had a bleed on the brain.

A subarachnoid haemorrhage occurs when there is bleeding in the space between the brain and the thin tissues that surround the brain, which is known as the subarachnoid space.

A spokesperson for the family has also told The Sun: “Dr Uchenna’s sudden death was due to natural causes. We are devastated, and our hearts are broken that her beautiful, full life has been cut so short.

“As a family, our priority right now is to take care of her young daughter and continue her legacy and keep her memory alive. A private celebration of her life will be held in the coming weeks.”
